Composition for sound design: james

in order to have a sound file for the James to work on i create a little film using all the play blast in After effects to which he did the music

except thhat after view it deceided for these changes

deleat all the paris biew and have it i the end. the cloud sequence and go straight forwards to the animations part,
also had to change the camera angle of scene 2 and scene 3 too many moving ( make you sick other wise) and teh angle of scene 8 .

james really did a good job.
the sound is excellent on the filmm really giev more definition

just changed wallpaper cause it made the room look more sinister, and depressed. plus with Jessica Stoderstarom light sit made it look better

the main problem in this scene was the camera angle.... when little owl jumps into his bed.. the camera was too close to the characeter


had to redo the wing cycle ( anyway was not good) cause i had done it with shoes, and normalle he should have lost them during the fight with the pigeons

i suck at lighting a scene, i have just  mixed and matched many directional light. nut i can get enough depth to the scene. I need more shadows.

well nearly al the character are done... 

sarah  is texturing some of the propos.
yemi is animating and wan also is an animator for the group.


we have met the sound technician james and hopefully he will hav a playblast of the entire animation by the 22 mai 
so like during  the time we are rendering and doing the effect the sound  will be just snap onto the animation.

the main correction to do where to:

the dress
the ames
and ankels
this is what i mean by extreme pose to check if the   the weighting okay.

it would be really nice if when finished rigging, the mesh was reallys checked before saying: finished.



just noticed that jess has forgotten to merge the vertices while modeling.









the scale system was not working. and the dress was going into the legs... well the body ctrl were not parented properly.
well here are the pictures.
i have spent the entire day fixing both character ...... but at last finished.

finally the character is weighted....

thought the blendshapes ctrol is not done and  i cant be asked to do them..  I have to rename all the blendshapes....cause they are all numbers...and i am tired .

i really should have had a look at this mesh more closely during the production, and after. 

the face  modeling is excellent and clean , however it is the rest which is a problem:  the fingers, arms and legs.h there are way many face to have a clean weighting.: it is mainly frustrating 

no joking i have spent all day in front of the computer since 1 when i received it  to 11 weiting and cleaning up the rig ....... the only rest i have is when i went to vote for the london mayor that is it.



 








i asked sarah to finish of the weighting of the grandma the legs and arms also to rename all the joint
to ease the weighting.

i have renamed all the joinst and i am fixing the weigting, also the grandma does not have any face contol.
the hand control does not work and the finger are not weighted properly.

I spent the entire day rigging and weighting the grandmother as sarah was having problem with it.
I left her to do the legs and the finger: we decided to have simple rig: everything is FK.

DOG RIGGING PROBLEM




I have found a rigging problem: and all day i have been trying to fix it but i don't knwo that is going wrong. i have reapplied the spine Ik but it continues to mess up the right ear.

i have checked the constrains and all but nothing!!! ARGH
I have posted up my problem in CG TALk hopefully someone will find the problem and help me to fix it >>>>

thanks to ISIA : on CGtalk i managed to fix the rigging problem: as said it was not properly constrained and parented
